Business and Organizational Philosophy

The Indiana Regional Community Policing Institute (RCPI) believes that a community policing strategy that promotes a collaborative partnership between community citizens and their law enforcement officers is a value added strategy.

The Indiana RCPI also believes that the regional law enforcement officers and their communities must work together as equal partners to enhance the quality of life by addressing and solving community problems such as crime, domestic violence, drugs, and any other social disorder that would be considered a detriment to a vibrant community life.

The Indiana RCPI strategy also offers a key component for participation in professional training and educational programs for law enforcement agencies and the community.
